Basingstoke Chess club provide Junior sessions for those aged between 5-15. New players of all skill levels are always welcome to join. There are opportunities to play competitively at junior level with local tournaments taking place throughout the year. Tuition is provided to allow players to make pogress within the game, with severel former Juniors making it into the adult teams within the Basinstoke Chess Club after their time with the juniors.

Games played within the Basingstoke Junior Chess Club are mainly casual, with a focus on learning and enjoying the game whilst making friends.
