Basingstoke Chess Club hold a Family day once a month on a Saturday at the Basingstoke Discovery Centre (Library) in the centre of town. Informal games of chess are played and instruction given to new and up and coming players. The new season starts in September 2023. Scheduled dates are below. The sessions run from 10.30am to 12.30pm and are open to all. Every session is free.
